A: Health coaching services are not typically covered by insurance. However, many clients use HSA/FSA funds for payment. I can provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Q: How long do I need to commit?
A: The Discovery Call is free with no commitment. The Health Assessment is one-time. Monthly Membership clients see best results with a 3-6 month commitment, though you can cancel with 30 days notice.
Q: What if I'm taking multiple medications?
A: Perfect! This is where my pharmacist background really shines. I'll review all your medications, supplements, and any potential interactions that could be affecting your weight, energy, or overall health.
Q: Can you prescribe medications or supplements?
A: As a health coach, I provide education and guidance but do not prescribe. However, I can make informed recommendations for you to discuss with your prescribing physician, and I coordinate care when appropriate.
Q: What platforms do you use for virtual sessions?
A: Zoom for video sessions. Text/email support. All private and confidential.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?
A: Life happens! Just give me 24 hours notice and we'll reschedule with no penalty.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes! Monthly Membership is already a monthly payment. For the Health Assessment, contact me to discuss options.
Q: Can my spouse/partner join sessions?
A: Yes, I'm happy to include your partner in portions of sessions when appropriate especially for nutrition planning and lifestyle changes that affect the whole household.
