Your body already knows how to make GLP-1. You jus Your body already knows how to make GLP-1. You just have to feed it right.

GLP-1 medications get all the attention right now, but your gut naturally produces this same hormone every single day. The right foods can help support that process, no needle required.

Here are 10 foods that support your body's natural GLP-1 production:

🥚 Eggs — steady blood sugar, complete protein
🐟 Fatty Fish — omega-3s support gut hormone signaling
🥩 Grass-Fed Beef, Chicken & Turkey — protein is one of the strongest natural triggers
🥑 Avocados — healthy fat + fiber = lasting fullness
🫒 Extra Virgin Olive Oil — supports gut lining and hormone release
🌰 Walnuts — fiber, fat, and plant protein in one
🥦 Cruciferous Vegetables — fiber feeds the gut bacteria behind GLP-1 🥬 Fermented Foods — probiotics support a healthy microbiome
🥛 Greek Yogurt — protein + probiotics, a gut-friendly combo
🫖 Green Tea — catechins support GLP-1 secretion and slow digestion

None of this replaces medical care if you need it. But if you're looking to support your body naturally, your plate is a great place to start.

Save this for your next grocery run. 🛒

Calling all women 40+ who want to feel better in t Calling all women 40+ who want to feel better in their body.

If you're tired of guessing, tired of diets that don't make sense for your age and hormones, and ready for a plan that actually fits this stage of life, the next RESET cohort is for you.

Inside the program:

10 weekly 60-minute small-group coaching sessions
The Reset Food Guide for Women 40+
Sleep & Stress Reset Module
Strength for Midlife Framework
A pharmacist's lens on what may actually be driving your symptoms
Weekly accountability and a clear focus, no more guessing what to do next
A look at the supplements you may be missing (and the ones you don't need anymore)

One client told me: "I went down 2 clothing sizes and I finally have no more brain fog. I feel like myself again."

That's the kind of change this program is built for. Better sleep, steadier energy, a clearer mind, a body that feels like it's working with you instead of against you.

Only 3 spots left. Next cohort starts September 2026.

If this is you, or someone you love is ready for this kind of support, send me a message and I'll fill you in.

Let's talk about A1C, because a lot of people have Let's talk about A1C, because a lot of people have heard the term and very few have been told what it actually means for their body.

A1C measures your average blood sugar over the past 90 days. It's one of the most useful numbers in your labs, and one of the most under explained.

Here's the range breakdown:

Healthy Range: 5-5.4%

Prediabetes: 5.7% to 6.4%

Diabetes: 6.5% or higher

Now here's the part I really want you to sit with: why this number is worth paying attention to.

Elevated blood sugar over time is not a quiet, harmless thing. It's slowly abrasive.

Sustained high glucose damages blood vessels and nerves, which is why chronically high A1C is linked to:

Heart disease and stroke, since high glucose contributes to artery damage Kidney damage, sometimes silent until it's advanced

Nerve damage, especially in the hands and feet

Vision problems, including retinopathy

Slower wound healing and higher infection risk

None of this happens overnight. That's exactly why it sneaks up on people. A1C isn't dramatic. It doesn't hurt. It just quietly compounds until it does.

As a pharmacist/holistic health coach, this is the conversation I have most often: someone's A1C creeps up for years, nothing feels different day to day, and then suddenly it's not a "someday" problem anymore.
